MN State Fair Results

Hi everyone,

Just wanted to share with everyone that the best red wine at the 2005 Minnesota State Fair was…stomped by the Crofuts!

Sam and I bottled the Frontenac wine made from 100% Minnesota grown grapes last week. The grapes were crushed on September 26, 2004 with Bev and Marshall Rosenthal, and gently pressed on the circa 1920 wine press given to us by Pam O’Connell and her dad (his memory and passion for life still lives through us…really big thanks Pammie) that same day. The Frontenac wine placed first in the Open competition. At this time I think of my Grandpa Crofut and my dad, and know they would be happy their boys are having lots of fun.

Best,
Don Crofut
