2008 Indy Wine Competition

Wines from around the world poured into the Indiana State Fairgrounds Blue Ribbon Pavilion for the 17th annual Indy International Wine Competition.

As one of the largest wine competition in the US, the Indy International brought in nearly 3,200 wines from 15 countries. Seventy-five judges traveled to Indianapolis from across North America to review approximately 120 wines a day based on appearance, aroma, taste and aftertaste.

The Indy International Wine Competition is sponsored by the Indiana State Fair and coordinated by the Indiana Wine Grape Council at Purdue University. For more information, visit the competition website at indianawines.org/in.gov/awards.
