Tasters Guild
2009 Wine
Competition
Hundreds of vineyards
entered their best products in the Tasters Guild 22nd International
Wine Judging Competition in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
Crofut Winery brought
home five medals! In fact, Tasters Guild President Joe Borrello
commented on the growing number of wineries working with grape
varieties specific to their region. "It's fun to taste some
well-made wines from non-traditional winemaking states," he said.
Over 2,100
wines from 13 countries and 36 states/provinces participated in
this professionally conducted wine judging. Judges include wine
writers, retailers, wholesalers, educators, restaurateurs,
winemakers and experienced consumers from around the country.
